I’m a third year undergraduate student at the University of Iowa. I’m currently majoring in Human Physiology, minoring in Psychology, and am on the Pre-Medical track. I joined MAPS my freshman year. I wanted to pursue medicine but I had no path set before me to follow. I joined MAPS hoping to get more information and find a mentor to help me through this difficult journey. Through MAPS I’ve shadowed physicians, made friends, learned how to be successful, and found many mentors. As part of the executive board, I hope to be a mentor to the people that felt lost like I did my freshman year.
