My name is Weiren Liu. I grew up in Iowa City/Coralville and went to West High school. After graduating high school, I left for Philadelphia where I went to University of Pennsylvania for undergrad. I double majored in Molecular Biology and Fine Arts. During college, I participated in various community service organizations. I was president of Penn AIDS Awareness and student director for PennCORP, a community service pre-orientation program for civic minded incoming students. I am currently a second year medical student and honored to be serving as your MAPS Liaison to Carver chapter of SNMA (Student National Medical Association).
